Duas for Rizq and Health with Hadith

Allahummagfirli zambi wa was-si’-li fi daa ri wa barik li fi riz-qi

O Allah! Forgive my sins and widen my home and grant barakah in my rizq.

Abu Hurairah narrated that a man said:

“O Messenger of Allah, I heard your supplication last night, and the part of it that reached me was that you said: ‘O Allah, forgive me my sin, and expand for me my abode, and bless for me that which You have provided me’ (Allāhummaghfirlī dhanbī, wa wassi lī fī dārī, wa bārik lī fīmā razaqtanī). He said: ‘Do you see that they leave off anything?’”   *(Jami at-Tirmidhi 3500)*

Allahumma akthir mali wa waladi, wa barik-li fima a’taitani.

O Allah, increase my wealth and offspring and bless me in what You have provided for me.

Hadith Narrated by Anas:

The Prophet (ﷺ) paid a visit to Um-Sulaim, and she placed before him dates and ghee. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Replace the ghee and dates in their respective containers, for I am fasting.” Then he stood somewhere in her house, offered an optional prayer, and invoked good on Um-Sulaim and her family.

Um-Sulaim then said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! I have a special request.” He said, “What is it?” She replied, “(Please invoke for) your servant Anas.” So Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) did not leave anything good in the world or the Hereafter which he did not invoke Allah to bestow on me, and said, “O Allah! Give him property and children and bless him.” Thus I am one of the richest among the Ansar, and my daughter Umaina told me that when Al-Hajjaj came to Basra, more than 120 of my offspring had been buried.

(Sahih Al Bukhari 1982)

Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlika wa rahmatika, fa innahu la yamlikuha illa Anta.

O Allah, indeed I ask of You for Your Virtue (Bounty) and Your Mercy, for indeed, no one possesses these except You.

Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman naafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that when the Prophet (ﷺ) performed the Subh (morning prayer), while he said the Salam, he would say:

5. Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan.’

(Sunan Ibn Majah 925)

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, make up for my deficiencies, elevate me, guide me, and provide for me.

Ibn Abbas narrated: “Between the two prostrations, the Prophet would say: (Allahummaghfir li, warhamni, wajburni, wahdini, warzuqni). ‘O Allah! Pardon me, have mercy on me, help me, guide me, and grant me sustenance.’”

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 284)
