Revelation

Hadith–Izaa jaa a Nasrullah Dua

Ibn Abbas narrated that after this Surah, the Prophet made extensive remembrance of Allah and sought His forgiveness. Aisha (RA) reported that the Prophet (PBUH) would often recite:
“Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi astaghfirullahi wa atubu ilayhi”,
(“Glory be to Allah and with His praise, I seek forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance”).
This was in line with the guidance of Surah An-Nasr to praise Allah and seek forgiveness.
