2nd Kalma Shahada in English, Urdu and Arabic with Importance

| Transliteration | Ashhadu Allah ilaha illallahu wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa Rasoolahu. |
| English Translation | “I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.” |
| Urdu Translation | “میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد ﷺ اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔” |

What is the Kalima?

Hadith Supporting the Kalima Shahada
1. Umar bin Al-Khattab narrated:
“Whoever performs Wudu well, then says: ‘Ashhadu an la ilaha ill-Allah was ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh,’ the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him, and he may enter through whichever one he wishes.”
2. Uthman narrated:
“He who dies knowing that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise.”
Benefits of Saying the Second Kalima
• Paradise is guaranteed for those who die while sincerely believing and testifying to this Kalima.
• Opening of Paradise gates upon performing Wudu and reciting the Shahada.
• It is part of the Adhan and the daily prayers, reinforcing faith and serving as a reminder of one’s belief in Allah and His Messenger.
