2 | رَبَّنَا وَٱجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةًۭ مُّسْلِمَةًۭ لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ | Rabbanaa waj’alnaa muslimaini laka wa min zurriyyatinaaa ummatam muslimatal laka wa arinaa manaasikanaa wa tub ‘alainaa innaka antat Tawwaabur Raheem | Our Lord! Make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy (Will), and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy (Will); and show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in Mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful |
3 | رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةًۭ وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةًۭ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ | Rabbanaaa aatina fid dunyaa hasanatanw wa fil aakhirati hasanatanw wa qinaa azaaban Naar | Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire |
4 | رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًۭا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ | Rabbanaaa afrigh ‘alainaa sabranw wa sabbit aqdaamanaa wansurnaa ‘alal qawmil kaafireen | Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance, make our foothold sure, and give us help against the disbelieving folk |
5 | رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ | Rabbanaa laa tu’aakhiznaaa in naseenaaa aw akhtaanaa | Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error |
6 | رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرٗا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ | Rabbanaa wa laa tahmil ‘alainaa isran kamaa hamaltahoo ‘alal-lazeena min qablinaa | Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us |
7 | رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَىٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ | Rabbanaa wa laa tuhammilnaa maa laa taaqata lanaa bih; wa’fu ‘annaa waghfir lanaa warhamnaa; Anta mawlaanaa fansurnaa ‘alal qawmil kaafireen | Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith |
8 | رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوبَنَا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَيۡتَنَا وَهَبۡ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ | Rabbanaa laa tuzigh quloobanaa ba’da iz hadaitanaa wa hab lanaa mil ladunka rahmah; innaka antal Wahhaab | Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure |
9 | رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ ٱلنَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ | Rabbana innaka jami’unnasi li-Yawmil la raiba fi innallaha la yukhliful mi’aad | Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind together against a day about which there is no doubt; for Allah never fails in His promise. |
10 | رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ | Rabbanaaa innanaaa aamannaa faghfir lanaa zunoobanaa wa qinaa ‘azaaban Naar | Our Lord! We have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire |
11 | رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا بِمَآ أَنزَلۡتَ وَٱتَّبَعۡنَا ٱلرَّسُولَ فَٱكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ | Rabbanaaa aamannaa bimaaa anzalta wattaba’nar Rasoola faktubnaa ma’ash shaahideen | Our Lord! We believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Messenger. Then write us down among those who bear witness |
12 | رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِىٓ أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ | Rabbanagh fir lanaa zunoobanaa wa israafanaa feee amirnaa wa sabbit aqdaamanaa wansurnaa ‘alal qawmil kaafireen | Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith |
13 | رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلًا سُبْحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ | Rabbanaa maa khalaqta haaza baatilan Subhaanaka faqinaa ‘azaaban Naar | Our Lord! Not for naught hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire |
14 | رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ ٱلنَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُۥ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ | Rabbanaa innaka man tudkhilin Naara faqad akhzai tahoo wa maa lizzaalimeena min ansaar | Our Lord! Any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong |

15 | رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًۭا يُنَادِى لِلْإِيمَٰنِ أَنْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَـَٔامَنَّاۚ رَبَّنَا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ | Rabbanaa innanaa sami’naa munaadiyan yunaadee lil-eemaani an aaminoo birabbikum fa aamannaa Rabbanaa faghfir lanaa zunoobanaa wa kaffir ‘annaa saiyi aatina wa tawaffanaa ma’al abraar | Our Lord! We have heard the call of one calling to faith, ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our Lord, forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous |
16 | رَبَّنَا وَءَاتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِۖ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ | Rabbanaa wa aatinaa maa wa’attanaa ‘ala rusulika wa laa tukhzinaa yawmal qiyaamah; innaka laa tukhliful mee’aad | Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine apostles, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: for Thou never breakest Thy promise |
17 | رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِىۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ | Rabbij ‘alnee muqeema salaat, wa min zurriyyatee; Rabbanaa wa taqabbal du’aa | O my Lord! Make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring. Our Lord! And accept Thou my Prayer |
18 | رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ | Rabbanaa ighfir lee waliwalidayya wa lilmu’mineena yawma yaqoomu al-hisab | Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and all the believers, on the Day when the reckoning will be established |
19 | رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًۭا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًۭا | Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayya wa liman dakhala baytiya mu’minan walilmu’mineena walmu’minaati wa laa tazidiz-zalimeena illa tabaara | O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in faith, and all believing men and women. And to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase except in destruction |
20 | رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةًۭ مِّنكَۖ وَٱرْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ | Rabbanaa anzil ‘alainaa maa’idatam minas samaaa’i takoonu lana ‘eedal li-awwalinaa wa aakhirinaa wa aayatan minka warzuqnaa wa anta khairur-raaziqeen | Our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us—for the first and the last of us—a festival and a sign from Thee; and provide for our sustenance, for Thou art the best Sustainer |
21 | رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ وَٱرْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ | Rabbighfir warham wa anta khairur-raahimeen | O my Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy |
22 | رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا | Rabbanaa innaanaaa ata’naa saadatana wa kubaraaa’anaaa fa adalloona as-sabeel | Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path |
23 | رَبَّنَآ ٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ | Rabbanaa wab’ath feehim Rasoolam minhum yatloo ‘alaihim aayaatika wa yu’allimuhumul Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa yuzakkeehim; innaka antal ‘azeezul hakeem | Our Lord! Send among them a Messenger of their own, who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book and in wisdom, and purify them. Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise |
24 | رَبَّنَآ أَفْتِحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْفَٰتِحِينَ | Rabbanaaa iftah bainanaa wa baina qawminaa bilhaqqi wa anta khairul faatihin | Our Lord! Decide Thou between us and our people in truth, for Thou art the best to decide |
25 | رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْـَٔلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِهِۦ عِلْمٌۭۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِى وَتَرْحَمْنِىٓ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ | Rabbi innee a’oodhu bika an as’alaka maa laisa lee bihee ‘ilm; wa illaa taghfir lee wa tarhamneee akun minal khaasireen | O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from asking Thee that of which I have no knowledge; and unless Thou forgive me and have mercy on me, I should indeed be among the losers |

26 | رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًۭا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِى فِى ذُرِّيَّتِىٓۖ إِنِّى تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّى مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ | Rabbi awzi’nee an ashkura ni’mataka al-latee an’amta ‘alayya wa ‘ala waalidayya wa an a’mala saalihan tardaahu wa aslih lee fee zurriyyatee inni tubtu ilayka wa inni minal muslimeen | O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous deeds which may please You, and admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants |
27 | رَبَّنَآ أَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَٰنِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلْإِيمَٰنِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِى قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّۭا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواۭ۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ | Rabbanaa ighfir lana wa li-ikhwanina al-latheena sabaqoona bil-eemani wala taj’al fee quloobina ghillan lillatheena aamanoo Rabbanaa innaka Raoofun Raheem | Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancor (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful |
28 | رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ | Rabbi ansurnee ‘alal qawmil mufsideen | O my Lord! Help me against people who spread corruption |
29 | رَبِّ ٱدْخِلْنِى مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍۢ وَأَخْرِجْنِى مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍۢ وَٱجْعَل لِّى مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَٰنًۭا نَّصِيرًۭا | Rabbi adkhilnee mudkhala sidqin wa akhrijnee mukhraja sidqin waj’al lee mil ladunka sultanan naseera | O my Lord! Let my entry be by the Gate of Truth and Honor, and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honor; and grant me from Your Presence an authority to aid (me) |
30 | رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةًۭ طَيِّبَةًۭ ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ | Rabbi hab lee mil ladunka zurriyatan tayyibatan innaka Samee’ud du’a | O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation |
31 | رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًۭا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ | Rabbi laa tazarny fardan wa anta khayru al-waritheen | O my Lord! Leave me not alone (without an heir), though You are the best of inheritors |
32 | رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ | Rabbi ansurnee bima kadh-dhaboon | O my Lord! Help me because they deny me |
33 | رَّبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ | Rabbighfir lee waliwaalidayya waliman dakhala baytiya mu’minan walilmu’mineena walmu’minaat wala tazidiz-zalimeena illa tabaara | O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and all who enter my home as believers, and (all) believing men and believing women; and do not increase the wrong-doers except in destruction |
34 | رَبِّ زِدْنِى عِلْمًۭا | Rabbi zidnee ‘ilma | O my Lord! Increase me in knowledge |
35 | رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةًۭ مِّنكَۖ وَٱرْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ | Rabbanaa anzil ‘alainaa maa’idatam minas-samaa’i takoonu lana ‘eedal li-awwalinaa wa aakhirinaa wa aayatan minka warzuqnaa wa anta khayrur-raziqeen | Our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us—for the first and the last of us—a festival and a sign from You; and provide for our sustenance, for You are the best Sustainer |
36 | رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًۭا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ | Rabbi laa tazarny fardan wa anta khayru al-waritheen | O my Lord! Leave me not without offspring, though You are the best of inheritors |
37 | رَبِّ أَنِّي لِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍۢ فَقِيرٌۭ | Rabbi innee limaa anzalta ilayya min khairin faqeer | O my Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me |
38 | رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِأَخِى وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِى رَحْمَتِكَ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ | Rabbi ighfir lee wali akhi wa adkhilnaa fee rahmatika wa anta arhamu raahimeen | O my Lord! Forgive me and my brother! Admit us into Your mercy, for You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy |
39 | رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًۭا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ | Rabbi laa tazarny fardan wa anta khayru al-waritheen | O my Lord! Leave me not without offspring, though You are the best of inheritors |
40 | رَبَّنَآ أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَٱغْفِرْ لَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ | Rabbanaa atmim lana noorana waghfir lana innaka ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer | Our Lord! Perfect our light for us and forgive us; surely, You have power over all things |
