Ghar me Dakhil hone ki Dua in Arabic

When entering your home, it is recommended to recite the Dua for entering the house to seek blessings and protection from Allah. The dua is:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا

Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa ‘ala rabbina tawakkalna.”

Translation: “In the name of Allah, we enter, and in the name of Allah, we leave, and upon our Lord we place our trust.”

This dua is supported by a hadith from Sunan Abi Dawood where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that reciting this dua keeps the devil away from the house.

In Another hadith related to the dua for entering the house is reported by Jabir ibn Abdullah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“When a man enters his house and mentions the name of Allah when entering and when eating, Satan says: ‘There is no shelter for you (i.e., the devil) here tonight and no dinner.’ But if he enters without mentioning the name of Allah, Satan says: ‘You have found a place to stay.’ And if he does not mention the name of Allah when eating, Satan says: ‘You have found a place to stay and dinner.’” [Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 2018]
