حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَHatta zurtumul-maqaabirUntil you visit the graves.
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَKalla sawfa ta’lamoonNo! You will soon come to know.
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَThumma kalla sawfa ta’lamoonAgain, no! You will soon come to know.
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِKalla law ta’lamoona ‘ilmal yaqeenIndeed, if you had certain knowledge,
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَLatara-wun nal jaheemYou will surely see the Hellfire.
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِThumma latara wunnaha ‘ainal yaqeenThen, you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِThumma latus alunna yauma-izin ‘anin na’eemThen, on that Day, you will certainly be questioned about your worldly comforts.
