Transliteration: Allahumma ‘aafini min sharri sam’i, wa basari, wa lisani, wa qalbi, wa min sharri maniyyee.
Meaning in English: O Allah, protect me from the evil of my hearing, my seeing, my tongue, my heart, and from the evil of my private parts.
Hadith Reference
Shakal bin Humaid (RA) reported:
He asked the Prophet (ﷺ), “O Messenger of Allah, teach me a Dua from which I may benefit.” The Prophet (ﷺ) responded:
“Say: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my private parts.”
The hadith is reported in Sunan Abu Dawood (1551), At-Tirmidhi (3492), and An-Nasa’i (5484).
