Azan Ke Baad KI Dua in English

Transliteration:

Allahumma Rabba hadihid’dawatit Taam’mah, Was Salatil Qaa’emah, Aati Muhammadanil waseelata wal fadheelah, wab ashu Maqamam Mahmoodanil Ladi wa’attah, innaka La Tukhliful Meeaad

Translation:

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad the intercession and favor, and raise him to the honored station You have promised him.

Transliteration:

Translation:

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone without any partners, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Muhammad as my Messenger, and with Islam as my religion.

Benefits of Reciting Azan Ke Baad KI Dua

Reciting a Dua after hearing the Azan holds special significance in Islam. Let’s explore its benefits:

  1. Intercession (Shafa’ah): Reciting this Dua after the Azan brings the intercession of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It’s a powerful way to seek blessings and closeness to Allah.
  2. Answering the Azan: By repeating the words of the Azan, you actively respond to it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) encouraged this practice. Remember, this recitation should be done during the Azan itself, not afterward.
  3. Timely Dua: The time of Azan is a blessed moment for making supplications. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The supplication made between the Azan and the Iqamah is not rejected.” Take this opportunity to recite your heartfelt wishes.
  4. Sending Salawat: After the Azan, recite Salawat upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) by saying: “Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad wa-’ala ali Muhammad.” This act brings blessings and elevates your rank in Paradise.
  5. Spiritual Purification: Reciting Dua after the Azan purifies and balances the heart, motivating you to prepare for prayer and the afterlife.
