بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِBismillaahi, tawakkaltu ‘alallaahi, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata ‘illaa billaah.“In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah.”اللہ کے نام سے، میں نے اللہ پر بھروسہ کیا؛ کوئی طاقت اور قوت نہیں سوائے اللہ کے۔

Prophetic Wisdom and Message in the Dua:

  • Bismillah reminds us that real support comes from Allah, not external sources, and signifies relying on Him for protection and guidance.
  • Tawakkul encourages putting trust in Allah after making plans, as He loves those who trust in Him (Quran, Al-Imran: 159).
  • aa Hawla Wa La Quwwata acknowledges personal helplessness and reliance on Allah’s strength and guidance for success.

Hadith:

Narrated by Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “When a man goes out of his house and says: ‘In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah,’ the following will be said to him at that time: ‘You are guided, defended, and protected.’ The devils will go far from him, and another devil will say: How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended, and protected?”

(Sunan Abi Dawud 5095)
