Dua For Evil Eye Protection in Roman English from the Qur’an

The Holy Quran also confirms the evil eye through various verses, such as “and from the evil of an envier when they envy.” (Quran 113:5)

Dua For Evil Eye Protection by Prophet(ﷺ)- Nazar ki dua

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The evil eye is real, and if anything were to overtake the divine decree (al-qadar), it would be the evil eye.”

The Prophet(ﷺ) sought Allah’s protection for his grandchildren, Al-Hasan and Al-Husain, just as their forefather, Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim), sought protection for his sons, Ismail and Isaac.

Transliteration:
A’uzu bi kalimatillahi tammah min kulli shaytanin wa hammahtin, wa min kulli ‘aynin lammah.

English Meaning:
“I seek refuge for you both in the Perfect Words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and every evil eye.”

Dua for Protection from Evil Eye and Jealousy:


This dua helps protect against harmful intentions and envy:
Arabic
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ

Transliteration:
Bismillahi arqeek, min kulli shay’in yu’dheek, min sharri kulli nafsin aw ‘aynin haasid, Allaahu yashfeek.

English Meaning:
“With the Name of Allah, I recite over you (to cleanse you) from all that troubles you, and from every harmful mischief and from the evil of the eyes of an envier. Allah will cure you.”

The Reality of the Evil Eye:
Ibn ‘Abbas reported that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said: “The influence of an evil eye is a fact; if anything preceded the destiny, it would be the influence of an evil eye. When you are asked to take a bath (as a cure) from its influence, you should do so.”

Procedure for Bathing for Evil Eye Protection

  • When taking a bath for protection from the evil eye, follow these steps:
  • Intention (Niyyah): Make a sincere intention to purify yourself and seek protection from any negative influences. Begin by saying “Bismillah” (In the name of Allah)
  • Full Body Bath (Ghusl): Perform a complete ritual bath (ghusl) by washing your entire body. Ensure that water reaches every part, including the hair.
  • Recite Duas: While bathing, recite any relevant duas or verses from the Quran. Some recommended verses include Surah Fatiha, Ayat-ul-Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:255), Surah Al-Falaq (113), and Surah Al-Naas (114).
  • Sprinkle Water: After bathing, you can sprinkle some of the bathwater on yourself or the person affected by the evil eye.

Signs of Inflicted Evil Eye

The evil eye is believed to cause harm or misfortune to a person due to envy or negative energy directed toward them. Here are some common signs of evil eye:

  1. Constant Yawning
  2. Itching
  3. Burping
  4. Hot and Cold Flashes
  5. Constant Sneezing
  6. Spots and Boils
  7. Darkness Under the Eyes
  8. Feelings of Despair and Fear
  9. Tightness of the Chest
  10. Persistent Headaches
