Rabbana innana amanna faghfir lana dhunubana wa qina adhabannar
Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Surah Al-Imran Ayat 16 (3:16 Quran)
“Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar”
O Allah, protect me from the Fire (of Hell).
“Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-Nar”
Our Lord, give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Surah Baqarah ayah 201
“Allahumma inni as’aluka al-jannah wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw ‘amal, wa a’udhu bika min an-Nar wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw ‘amal”
O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and for the words and deeds that will bring me closer to it, and I seek refuge in You from Hellfire and from the words and deeds that will bring me closer to it.
“Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min zawali ni’matika, wa tahawwuli ‘afiyatika, wa fujaa’ati niqmatika, wa jami’i sakhatika”
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the withdrawal of Your blessings, the decline of health, the sudden onset of Your punishment, and all that displeases You.
Rabbana asrif ’anna ’adhaba Jahannam, inna ‘adhabaha kana gharama. Innaha sa’at mustaqarran wa muqama.
“Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment. Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell.”
Surah Furqaan 25:65-66
“Allahumma’jalni min at-tawwabin wa’jalni min al-mutatahhirin wa’jalni min ‘ibadika as-salihin wa qini sharri Nar Jahannam”
O Allah, make me among those who constantly repent, make me among those who purify themselves, make me among Your righteous servants, and protect me from the evil of the Fire of Hell.
