How long does it take to complete Khatam Al Quran?
The Quran is divided into 30 parts, called Juz or Para, in most copies. If you have a Hafizi Quran, it has 20 pages in each Juz, totaling 600 pages. So, if you read 20 pages, or 1 Juz, every day, you can finish reciting the entire Quran in 30 days.
In addition to individual recitation Dua Khatam al-Quran gatherings are also organized in mosques and community centers, where participants come together to collectively complete the Quran. These gatherings often include communal prayers, supplications, and sharing of blessings.
Some people also opt for alternate schedules to complete the Quran, such as reciting a portion each day over a longer period, like 40 or 60 days, depending on their commitments and pace.
