Dua When Raining in Arabic PDF: Barish ki Dua
Expressing gratitude for rain in Islam is a beautiful practice, accompanied by specific supplications(Dua When Raining) to thank Allah for His blessings. Here are the relevant duas along with their meanings
Rain is a magnificent blessing from Allah, mentioned extensively in the Quran. It’s described as a process in Surah Ar-Rum and Surah An-Nur:
In Surah Ar-Rum (30:48), Allah describes how He sends the winds, which stir the clouds and spread them across the sky as He wills. He then breaks them into fragments, from which rain emerges. When He sends this rain upon His servants as He chooses, they rejoice.
Similarly, in Surah An-Nur (24:43), Allah illustrates how He gathers clouds, compacts them, and causes rain to emerge from within them. He sends down rain from the sky, sometimes accompanied by hail from clouds resembling mountains. Through this process, Allah chooses whom to bless with rain and whom to withhold it from. The lightning accompanying the rain is so intense that it nearly blinds the eyes.
