Surah Ad Duha Benefits - PDF with Translation

Surah Ad-Duha was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad during the early period of Makkah. It was revealed after the Prophet had not received any revelation from Allah for six months. The Prophet was feeling anxious and depressed, believing that Allah had forgotten him and was displeased with him.

The revelation of Surah Ad Duha gave the Prophet hope and positivity and assured him that Allah was with him. Disbelievers mocked him, and even some of the believers started to doubt. To comfort him, Allah revealed Surah Ad-Duha to assure the Prophet that He had not abandoned him.

This Surah was then revealed, beginning with the words: “By the morning brightness and by the night when it is still, your Lord has not left you, nor does He hate you.” These words were a comforting reminder that Allah was always with him and was not angry.
