Surah Baqarah Last 2 Ayat PDF with Urdu and English Translation

The Surah Baqarah Last 2 Ayat, also known as the “Āmana ar-Rasūl” verses, were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during a unique and significant event. These verses were a special gift from Allah during the miraculous Night Journey (Isra and Mi’raj) when the Prophet ascended to the heavens.

Unlike other revelations, which were sent through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel), these verses were revealed directly to the Prophet. This Ayat holds great importance and spiritual value. Reciting these verses every night is highly encouraged, as they provide immense protection and blessings, as mentioned in authentic hadiths.

It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, and do not lay upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and do not impose upon us that which we cannot bear. And pardon us; forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqara is recited.”

Sahih Muslim 780

Abu Umama said he heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) say:

“Recite the Qur’an, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recite the two bright ones, al-Baqara and Surah Al ’Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them. Recite Surah al-Baqara, for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it.”
